DHS Policy Changes

DHS Policy Changes:

  • No pajamas of any kind unless it is a designated spirit day.
  • No blankets of any kind.
  • Cell phones- Staff will operate under the premise of “I see it or I hear it, I take it.” We will continue the penalty fee that is in our handbook.
  • 3 TARDIES in the same class period will be equivalent to 1 absence. If school personnel determine that a student’s grooming, or dress, violates the dress code, that student shall initially be given an opportunity to correct the problem at school and return to the classroom. If the problem cannot be corrected at school, the principal will work with the student and parent to obtain an acceptable change of clothing for the student in a way that minimizes loss of instructional time.
